VIETNAM WAR POETRY

The poetry contained within this page are part of a scattering of rhymes that I had written over the course of more thirty years beginning in 1964. Much of them are focused on the experiences of young Marines in Vietnam. Some of the poems sprung from my personal experiences as a member of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 365 during its combat tour of duty in Vietnam in 1964-65, and some after I left the Marine Corps and had returned to Southeast Asia.
