John Buschke was a big brother type to many of these kids in his neighborhood prior to his going into the Army. He kind of took care of them and helped solve the big bully type problems and taught them how to play baseball and all that stuff. Then he went to Vietnam and the next time the kids in that neighborhood saw him was in the church where his funeral was being held. Even to this day some of those kids, have wondered about what was happening and why he was killed.

We miss you John, and will never forget you.
