TSgt. Jason L. Norton and SSgt. Brian McElroy were killed in action on Jan 22, 2006 in Iraq. A third U.S.
Airmen was wounded in that attack on a convoy Sunday near Taji, Iraq, where a U.S. air base is located 20
kilometers (12 miles) north ofBaghdad, the military said. The name or medical status of the wounded airman has not been released. All three airmen served with the USAF 3d SFS in Iraq, which also served in Bien Hoa, Vietnam.

The remains of TSgt. Jason L. Norton and SSgt. Brian McElroy were placed in the same coffin and were buried at Arlingtion National Cemetery, sharing a headstone. Read full account at Memorial Account.
